Stuffed Elephant Facts:
These stuffed elephants are gorgeous gray animals and one of the largest mammals on land. An adult stuffed elephant has a huge height up to 13 feet tall and can weigh between 7,000 - 13,200 lbs!
Their most unique feature is their long muscular trunk, with up to two finger like structures at it's tip. They can do almost everything with this because for them it's a hand, signaling device, tool, nose, and even an extra foot! A stuffed animals elephant can reach up to 23 feet with this feature and also use it during fighting or tear down trees. However, stuffed elephants can control how aggressive they are with their trunk and be so gentle that they can pick up a small berry without squishing it to eat for a light snack. They can also use there most defined feature as a drinking device by collecting and pulling up to 3 gallons or 11.5 liters of water at one time.
Two more prominent features of the stuffed animals elephant our their giant tusks and large ears. The tusks are there incisors because they have no canine teeth and take 1/3 of the space in their skulls. Tusks are an indicator of age. Plus all stuffed elephants use there tusks in either the right or left direction as a tool and will be slanted in the direction they use. There large ears control body temperature and will flap on hot days to cool their body down. They also spread their ears to communicate to another stuffed animals elephant that they are angry or alarmed.
The stuffed elephant is not only known for their features but also for their interesting behavior, complex social structure, methods of communication, and their high intelligence. Elephants will greet nearby herds, that live in close proximity affectionately. They also communicate by deep growling or rumbling noises. Each stuffed elephant also have their own signature growl. They also make large sounds when danger is nearby and adults will instantly form circles around their young to protect them. Elephants also make low noises that are not recgonizeable to the human ear but can be heard by nearby elephant herds for up to 6 miles.
The most interesting fact about a stuffed animals elephant, is that it show emotions and empathy. It has been proven that elephants will show concern for members of their herd. They make sure to notice if a fellow stuffed animals elephant is injured or weak and will take care of them. They will also touch and caress family stuffed elephants with their trunks, and even entwine trunks of a loved one. If a close elephant dies they will grieve. They have also been know to examine, hold, and be fascinated with decesed elephant tusks and bones. As though they are visting their families elephant burial ground.

Stuffed elephants are very family oriented and stay with their stuffed baby elephants for all of their lives, which is 60 - 70 years. They are quite friendly to nearby elephants and females will even adopt an orphaned stuffed baby elephant as their own. The female will show all the stuffed baby elephants for years how to live every day life and collect food and water. Elephants eat 5% percent of their weight every day and there diet includes, grass, bark, fruit, twigs, and leaves. Plus they drink between 30 to 50 gallons every day to stay hydrated. Not only do they like to drink a lot of water but bath and swim in water as well.
